Why Do An Elimination Diet
You may have mystery symptoms that seem to come and go. Or you have symptoms that seem to be there all the time. You have tried to pinpoint when those symptoms come up like a headache, or an inchy scalp, or gas pains after a meal. But the confusing part is when you try to narrow down the cause or trigger. You might think you get bloated after a meal that has cheese in it, and then you experience gas and bloating after a meal that had NO dairy. How confusing and frustrating that can be.
The answer to those nagging issues might be on your plate.
The process of taking out all the possible trigger foods and then adding them back in one by one gives you an absolute and definitive answer to WHICH FOOD is causing the problems.
Your body is in a constant state of flux, so your reactions to food and environment are a combination of ever-changing factors.
The elimination diet is the gold standard to pinpoint which foods may be creating your symptoms.
